Delicious and popular taco spot! Went on a Friday night so it was very crowded and the line went to the end of the block but moved pretty quickly. I got two suaderos and one longaniza taco, I liked the suadero better. I put waayy too much spicy salsa on mine, would def put less next time. Had to eat sitting by a tree outside of the spot so would come here at an off time in the future to snag a spot.

Probably my favorite fast tacos place in the city!!! There's generally a line and limited seating space but it moves quickly. We tried the Al pastor, the sausage, the tripe and the flank steak! I wish we actually got the suadero - but next time! I loved the shell of the tacos and the side bar (with salsa, onions, cilantro and limes). Even the mild salsa was decently spicy. Good for a quick stop and then exploring greenpoint shops after!

This is a dine-in only establishment and for good reason! I believe they want you to experience their menu when it is fresh rather than taken home. I had the Campechano and Al Pastor Tacos. These were probably one of the best places I've had tacos in a while. There is limited seating inside with some seating inside. I would recommend going here during off peak hours as the line can get long. They give you the tacos with just the meat on them and you put the toppings as you please. There is a sauce/topping station inside. The Campechano is a combination of the Suadero and Loganiza. This was my favorite out of the 2 I tried there. Will definitely come back for some more.

Fast, casual, no frills. Seats here operate on a first come first serve basis. They take card. Limited street parking out front. The tacos here are made to order and are delicious. There is no wait staff so you clean up after yourself once you're done eating. It's easy to nab a quite bite for two since turnaround is quick.

Tacos are good! You have to eat in, so the line can move slowly on a rainy day. I got the Al pastor and the combo tacos. Both were delicious! Lots of meat piled up and very flavorful. I liked the green salsa addition, and the added squeeze of a lime.

Food: The best tacos I've had in New York to date. As a Cali kid I loveeee my tacos. The suadero taco here is so bomb! Meats so flavorful, tender and fresh. And the garnishing and sauces they have on the side are soooooo good together. Service: Service is great, it's always packed but you'll still never wait longer than 5 min for your food. Ambiance: Small little hole in the wall shop with lots of indoor/patio seating. It's about $5 a taco. It's right by my office and I come at least once a week. Highly recommended to all my friends!

This is not a Mexican restaurant. If you want to split hairs with me, then yes. But that is like saying a pizza slice shop is Italian restaurant just because pizza is an Italian food. The tacos here are about as authentic Mexican street food as you can get, in a neighborhood you would least expect it. It is not in Sunset Park, rather in a neighborhood that is known less for Mexican cuisine and known for another cuisine, a rather European one. Sure, the tacos are not cheap, but they come with tons of meat... and nothing else. You control the rest. There is a bar of sauces, onions, and cilantro for you to take, or not. The rest lies with you. There is a line that forms outside the restaurant but it moves quickly. People also move in and out of the restaurant quickly too so you do not wait long. Outside of the southwest, the Al Pastor taco is their best one for good reason. The pork is perfectly cooked and the pineapple layer is spot on. All the tacos are. The taco I did not get was the Tripa, as the idea of having intestines in my intestines is just a nasty picture, and having eaten tripe before, does me no good. I have said this before, a good taco should not leave you full. It should want you having "just one more", similar to that of a buffalo wing. These tacos do that. It has been more than three hours since I last ate one and I want just one more, and this is somebody who ate six of these bad boys. Come here at your own risk because of the line, but otherwise you will think highly of these tacos. Move aside Los Tacos No. 1, you have just slid to number two in my book.

Incredible tacos with high quality, perfectly-cooked, flavorful meat fillings! The suadero's beef confit was truly amazing, the meat was so tender, like fall off the bone tender (though there was no bone haha). The grounded pork was full of flavor. The pastor also had pineapple, which added a delightful fruitiness and refreshing to the taco. They also have a self serve bar with mild salsa, spicy salsa, red onions, cilantro, lime. This is both wonderful and a curse. A curse since I way underestimated how spicy the spicy salsa is, it is so spicy. Next time, no spicy salsa, just savoring the excellent meat fillings. The mild salsa is really good and refreshing.

This place has been on my bookmarks for FOREVER and I finally got a chance to try it. Please advise that they'll likely be a line out the door esp when the weather is nice but it moves by fast. The inside is super small with only a few counter seating that overlooks the kitchen area and then a few by the windowsill, along with a few tables outside. The inside will def transport you to a little taqueria in Mexico city. The menu is pretty limited with a few taco options, one of them being vegetarian (the cactus taco). I got the campechano taco, al pastor and saudero. Out of all of them my favorite was the campechano -- the ground pork was *chefs kiss.* I originally was looking forward to the al pastor taco since that's one of my faves but It was underwhelming as I felt it lacked some flavor and the pork slices were a little too crisp for my liking. Overall this is a pretty decent spot for tacos in the area.

I ordered four tacos initially. Then promptly ordered another two because they were that good. The Suadero, Campechano, Pastor, and Tripa were all incredible. Toppings are self-serve. It's a small counter service restaurant with some additional seating outside. Note, their spicy salsa is actually spicy.
